Personal Background

Don grew up in a family of physicians.  Starting with a Father, currently a retired Pediatrician and Sports Medicine Doc,  who came from a family of several physicians and nurses he carried on the example that laid the framework for his children. Don's sister is a Family Practice Physician.  His brothers are also physicians.  One is a Cardiologist and the other is a Cardio Thoracic Surgeon and also owns and operates a Laser Vein Therapy and Surgery center called Amalfi Vein Center and Spa.  Connecting and understanding the needs of physicians comes natural to Don and is one reason why he has had much success in serving the medical community with their real estates needs.  

Growing up locally and attending Brother Rice High School Don has a strong knowledge for the communities in these areas.  Living in Arlington and Alexandria Virginia while Don owned and operated a small business start up expanded his breadth of experience while living in a dynamic and culturally rich environment just a short drive to our Nation's Capital.  Later on servicing some of the most notable hospitals and physician groups aided in refining Don's customer service skills and taught him how to listen for and provide answers to help meet the needs of his client base.

Taking six months to a year to step down from a medical sales position to be the primary care giver for Don's first born child expanded his perspective on the world; globally and more personally.  A fantastic experience every Father should have, has helped Don understand the needs of Moms and what the challenges, rewards and new discoveries they experience on a daily basis.  It is life changing events such as these that add to our character as we develop our skills of perception and care.  These skills cater to the success of every interaction we have in life, business or not.  Don is thankful for these milestones as they have made him more effective in serving his clients.

Personal Interests

Married with four children, two girls and two boys, keeps Don well in touch with his community.  Don's wife Sallie is the Manager of the Managed Care Department at a local area hospital.  His oldest daughter was on the Grand Valley State University All Girl Cheer Team, not only cheering for University Athletic events but also competing nationally among the best cheer teams in the nation.  Don's second oldest daughter is in her first year of college as she leaves an active high school career running Cross Country and among other things held the position of Managing Editor for the school's year book.   Don's oldest son is making his way through high school and has interests in Fencing, Airsoft and other activities.  The youngest son, still in middle school, also enjoys Airsoft, Basketball, Cross Country, Karate and has been a standing member of the Boy Scouts of America. Don is an avid skier both snow and water.  He enjoys biking, boating and camping with his sons in Boy Scouts.
