Meet the Team
Born and raised in Ann Arbor and a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor Public Schools (Burns Park Elementary, Tappan Middle School, Pioneer and Community High Schools) Ariel Hurwitz-Greene knows what a wonderful city Ann Arbor can be for everyone----especially after having moved back here from Chicago in 2011. A high school teacher there for ten years, Ariel's expertise in education adds a special dimension to her ability to help families find their perfect home and community.
Thrilled to have recently joined Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel, Ariel has consistently been a top producer with over 30 million in career sales. Ariel has demonstrated that she understands the importance of meeting her clients' needs. Her main goal is to make sure her clients feel supported throughout the entire buying or selling process, and ensures that the process runs as smoothly as possible. Her clients will always benefit from working with Ariel directly and she is committed to making sure that they always have the highest level of service.
In addition to working as a Realtor, Ariel is very active in the community. She currently is serving as Co-President of her PTO Board at her son's elementary school, and helps raise money for various charities such as Ann Arbor Foundation. She enjoys attending University of Michigan sporting and performing arts events, taking advantage of Ann Arbor's great restaurant options and loves the Farmers Market, which she has frequented since she was a young child. Making a home here for her family (husband, Joe, and two sons Nathaniel and Gabriel) has been a special joy. There is "no place like home" and Ariel Hurwitz-Greene knows how true that is about Ann Arbor! Neighbor to Neighbor. Personalized Service. The Most Knowledgeable Advocacy.
Abbie is thrilled to be joining Ariel Hurwitz-Greene on her team at Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel- Ann Arbor. With both Ariel and Abbie being Ann Arbor natives who "moved home" after long stints in New York and Chicago, they understand the value of living and raising our families in such a wonderful city.
Growing up, Abbie attended Eberwhite Elementary, Slauson Middle School and Pioneer High School where she also ran cross country and played softball. Having recently purchased a home herself, Abbie Buhr (formerly Ross) is familiar with the hectic Ann Arbor Market, and her problem solving skills, resourcefulness and friendly demeanor will help make the buying or selling process as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Married to her high school sweetheart, Jamie (Punky) Buhr, they have two endlessly entertaining sons (Leo, 5 and William, 2), and live on the west side of Ann Arbor. Before starting her real estate career, Abbie was the Art Director at Midwest Graphics & Awards, a screen-printing, embroidery and engraving company that her and Punky own and operate in Dexter. Starting with photographing her own headshot, Abbie is excited to apply her art, technical and design skills in her new career at Coldwell Banker. Abbie and Punky are also very active in the community, and are proud to be members of the C.S Mott Children's and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital National Campaign Leadership Council.
