Please feel free to call me with any of your real estate questions.
I was born and raised on a farm by Dundee, Michigan. As farm work is demanding and time sensitive, my experiences taught me a good work ethic. As an only child, my father and I worked many long hours particularly during the spring and fall on our 300 acres.
Both of my parents stressed the importance of a good education and so they sacrificed for me to go to Monroe Catholic Central for high school. This meant transporting me 22 miles one way for school until I was old enough to drive myself.
My wife, Lynn, and I have 2 grown sons, Mike and Chris and 6 grand children ranging in ages from 9-21. 4 of them live locally and so we see them as often as there busy schedules allow.
I graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree. After graduation, i worked for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for 4 years. The practice specialized in the tax field, including individual and corporate income tax and payroll taxes.
After working for the CPA I spent 16 years with Leaseway Transportation starting as an accountant for 3 of there 170 companies working my way up to financial controller of 7 companies and finally I assisted the Division President in setting up new operations for our customers both locally and in Mexico.
After the corporate experiences, I decided it was time to try something on my own. I started 2 pizza carryouts specializing in pizza, salads, and subs. I owned one for 2 years and the other for 5 yrs.
My wife and I enjoy boating in Lake Erie. This lake is known as the "Walleye Capital" of the country. Our marina is located where we can visit Detroit, Toledo, Lake St. Clair, Put-In-Bay (an island in Ohio) and ports in Canada.
My sons and I also like to hunt in the fall when time permits.
I am an active member of Multi Lakes Conservation Club in Walled Lake. Multi Lakes is a club set up for the shooting sports with both indoor and outdoor ranges for both gun and archery enthusiast. In the club house we enjoy cards, sling shot, a bar and restaurant.
With over 22 years experience I can assist you with all your real estate needs. If it includes your home, condo, investment property, or vacant land, give me a call. I can help you with regular transactions, short sales, or foreclosures either as a buyer or seller.
My real estate career started in 1990 when I started as an agent. In 2003, i obtained my Associate Brokers license. The last 22 years working in the real estate field as well as taking many real estate related classes has given me the experience to assist you with your real estate needs. I have handled many relocations, short sales, and foreclosures.
