Shades of Pink Foundation - Zoo Walk

This is a Foundation near and dera to my heart as a survivor I support this wonderful foundation and have walked in the SOP Walk at the Detroit Zoo for the past 5 years.

Shades of Pink Foundation was founded on the very simple principle that no person should have to forgo life-saving medical treatment in order to pay rent and other bills.  Shades of Pink Foundation is committed to easing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis for women in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Through various fundraising events over the past several years, Shades of Pink Foundation has been able to address its mission of funding women, every month, who have been presented with financial difficulties as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis. These efforts continue with  more than $1.5 million that has gone to help women and families in need.

This is home. This is where awesomeness happens.

Over the years I have worked with people from all over the world. It has been great fun getting to help people become familiar with the Detroit metroplitan area. It is such fun to meet and work with people from all over as well as help them become comfortable with their new surroundings.

Whether you're planning a move across town, across the country, or across the ocean, you have many important decisions to make. The task at hand may seem overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Moving may be stressful, but it also can be an adventure. As a half full type person, I always try and look at he positive side of things. Getting to know the geographic areas, and felling comfortable with one's surroundings is an important part of finding a home. Once you feel comfortable with an area or areas, it becomes a matter of finding the right home to buy or rent depending on your circustances.
