Clarkston Real Estate Listings and Information

The Village of the City of Clarkston: that’s a long name for a little town (population 900) big on country living with modern conveniences.

Clarkston is home to many parks, trails, and a downtown that is recognized by the Michigan historic register.

Recently Clarkston was even named as one of Forbes Magazine's Top Suburbs to Live Well.

Clarkston boasts several Blue Ribbon school designations and students here earn some of the highest grades in Oakland County.

From concerts in the park to the DTE Energy Music Theater which hosts major music acts, residents are treated to live music regularly. Speaking of music, one of Michigan’s most famous sons, Kid Rock, owns a home here.

Clarkston offers great dining like the Union Wood Shop (Detroit Free Press 2011 restaurant of the year) with its unique décor and famous mac and cheese. It was also featured on Food Network’s Diners Drive-Ins & Dives.

So if you’re feeling both a little bit country…and a little bit rock & roll (we just dated ourselves with that one), The Village of the City of Clarkston might be a good place to call home.
