8176 W Fillmore Road - Looking for a tiny house...........even if you aren't, you're going to fall in love with this one. This 18 ton tiny red cedar cabin made with solid logs is about 900 feet off the road surrounded by trees and cuter than a bugs ear. Cedar. Aromatic, naturally resistant to bugs and decay, and because of it's low density and high proportion of air spaces, red cedar is the best thermal insulator among the commonly available softwood species and is far superior to brick, concrete, and steel. And it has a steel roof. Other than staining this little darling every 5 years, it is maintenance free. The cabin has a picnic area with a raised deck that the current owner would some day build a gazebo over -- but for now, a canopy works really good. There is a fire pit, too.
