Happy Customers Make Me Happy!
I want to share with you our experience dealing with Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel and, in particular, Dana Fortinberry throughout our recent home sale and purchase. Until my recent retirement, my occupation was that of a professional pilot. I have had the opportunity of providing my services to many corporate CEOs, celebrities, well-known political figures and very high-net worth individuals, transporting them safely and in extreme comfort to destinations throughout the world. In short, I know what providing the highest level of customer serve is and should be.
Now that we have sold and purchased homes with Dana as our agent, I can honestly say that I will without hesitation or reservation recommend Dana Fortinberry as the “must have” agent to whomever will listen.
On June 1, 2015, we listed our home [in northern Oakland County] with Dana. From the very beginning she was there to help us in any way she could. In the month and a half that it took to complete the sale of the home, Dana was able, on short notice, to locate a small business owner to maintain our lawn. She even offered to come out and care for our pet dog if needed in order to facilitate showings.
We were finally able to locate a home to purchase in our desired location at about the same time we were closing on the sale of our home. That’s when the fun started as it turned out that there were significant title issues involved in the seller’s property. Throughout the eight weeks it took to clear up those issues, Dana was there for us at every turn. She was the one who knew the procedures required to clean up the [title] mess. Although it wasn’t her job to direct the seller and the seller’s agent, Dana was savvy enough to be able to drop sufficient hints along the way to keep them moving in the right direction. Even the seller’s agent admitted at closing that, without Dana, the deal had no chance of being completed.
Many times Dana checked with us regarding our willingness/desire to stick with the deal, assuring us that she was there to facilitate our wishes to wait it out or move on. At all times I knew that if I sent a text or left a voice mail with questions, and sometimes they were typical nervous buyer-type inquiries, my phone would be ringing within minutes with answers or reassurances. Even after the sale, Dana has been there for us, providing contacts when we were looking for flooring, carpet cleaning, etc., and those contacts have been great. Not only does Dana know a “guy” for that, she knows the best guy for whatever is needed.
Dana is a go-getter for sure… and an outstanding agent. She is the kind of person who reaches her goals very quickly and becomes good at whatever she chooses to do. [Dana is] just the kind of person you want working for you, not for the competition.
